We all crave to have perfect skin, and sometimes this is not easily achieved. There are many contributing factors that may be standing in the way of skin perfection, such as genetics, environmental factors, smoking and alcohol consumption to name a few. Here are a few points to help you achieve a natural flawless glow.
It is important to understand what type of skin you have. Using the correct face care products is vitally important to ensure your skin is cleansed and nourished correctly. Staying hydrated is equally as important to having a good cleansing routine, as water flushes out toxins from the body, and dehydrated skin will show premature signs of ageing such as fine line and wrinkles.
Keep sun exposure to a minimal and if you cant stay away from the sun, then make sure that your day cream contains an SPF, as well as your foundation which will give you that added protection in summer.
Make up does amazing things for your face, however it is important to allow your skin some 'breathing time' and this should be done at every possible chance. Ensure that make up is removed at night to prevent build up and clogging of the pores.
As I mentioned in earlier in my post, smoking and alcohol are the main culprits for premature ageing. Alcohol dehydrates the body naturally and the 'hang over' effect not only applies to your body but to your skin too. Dehydrated skin will very quickly show signs of ageing, fine lines will be the first to show followed by wrinkles over time. Smoking not only clogs the pores but can cause tiny vessels to burst under the eye area, and may cause bags too.
Hormones can cause chaos monthly with outbreaks of pimples and blemishes, luckily this is only temporary.
